I didn't like the clover-thingy either, but Goat sort of hits the nail here. The round 4 source doesn't have that many distinct shapes, which seem to cause a lack of ideas. On the other hand, with the rough surface you could do practicaly anything...
In design and similar activities you're always happy if the clients have narrowed down a few ideas/concepts that you can work from, rather than a client that says "You can anything you want that is great". The latter happens too often and can cause a lot of headpain.

I sorry, I must have missed the memo that said the H2H sources were supposed to be easy...
I think everyone has done a fantastic job with all the H2H's, yes even round 2's (the one I lost)
I thought round 4 had some clever ideas.
Bravo.
now quit yer complaining
and listen to Einstein down there and....

They don't need to be easy, that's not my point; just high quality stock and totally unique subject matter for each round. Proc explained why this round's image wasn't the best, so there's not much to talk about now. Anyhow, I'm done chopping for this round, so I can complain all I like.

Oh, I missed Procs post... Sorry!
Does this mean that Round 5, in which I hopefully still is on the H2H-train, will have the original round 4 source?

i hear ya mase,
I don't ever recall 'high quality' or 'totally unique' being a prerequisite for chopping H2H though... Don't get me wrong, I agree, its nice to have the highest quality, different images to start from... BUT if you can photoshop, you should be able to handle a craptacular source picture...
Hell I'm forced to do that every day at work... why should it be different here?
anyway, just playing devils advocate.
I guess I'm with Blue about the H2H...
Seems every year there is far more complaining going on about this or that being bad... as opposed to thanking those for setting this thing up and using their precious, sometimes limited, time to give us a challenge and a game to compete in when H2H comes along. I'm pretty sure theres a lot of work that goes into this. And what do we do to thank them? Complain
This is supposed to be fun isn't it? Can't we just enjoy it?
Cheers!

I agree completely with you. Like I said originally, I'm really not one to complain, I've more or less liked all the sources so far, even if certain chops I've done have sucked.
