Please remove both entried titled Tiptoe Model T. I have a revision I want to post, and I don't know how two of the same got up there. I don't know how to link, but it's the current contest, with the Model T as the themepost. Thank you, and sorry about that.

I don't know if they let you pull them both down, I have tried countless times to edit and about the best I can really seem to come up with is a 2nd entry.. I have noticed at times the server is slow and the bar at the bottom that tells you you are loading disappears along with the screen that says you are previewed. I had that trouble this time and just got out of the entry screen altogether, and went back to the contest page and it was there. If I had as I have in the past thought it hadn't loaded up I would have entered the piece twice.
to link I think all you have to do is copy and paste the url at the top of your browser on your entries page and that should link it...... I feel for you I have been there many a day and finally just got photobucket to upload to for revisions., it's really easier but you have to trust that your fellow artists will read the comments and or the source info to see the link.. I am sure people here have a better idea and information about this but for me this is how it's been sort of frustrating.. And it would be nice to re-edit the piece and not lose the position the piece is at but I don't think that's possible with the way things are programmed.

A mod should probably address this for non-Advantage.
I've double posted twice due to getting mixed up with tab browsing. If you're Advantage, click edit, upload your new and improved & "update entry."
You'll need to hard refresh to see the update.
and as far as I know, in non-anon comps, you can edit the day away without losing your position. It's only in anon comps, you'll sink to the bottom before you rise to the top.

If you just edit text, (IE: the title or authors notes) then yes, you do not loose your spot in line. Editing the picture, no matter what the contest, will make you go to the end of the line. Even if you do it before the contest opens.
Trust me, I do it all the time
You will need a mod to remove one of the entries if they are double posted. I've even double pre-posted! They wont remove both for you... Easiest way is to PM a mod http://photoshopcontest.com/boards/groupcp.php?g=10518 and change the name of the one you want deleted to (DELETE ME) I even go so far as to upload a delete me photo to make it unmistakable.
And yes you have to do a hard refresh for the changes to appear, sometimes you have to refresh twice.
Lather, Rinse, Repeat.

that's what I thought that when you edited the piece even keeping the same file name it still went to the back of the line.... which is great if everybody votes the entire board and not just the front. And Splodge said they did not allow you to remove the double entry, you as Shaman says have to either call in a mod or put up a please remove gif as your edit. But in your case Julie you want to do a 2nd entry so until one is removed I dont' think you can add it. Yes it's frustrating but still one of the best sites on the net for photoshopping...... I may want to pull out my hair but I think psc is a great so the mild whine or rant is just that nothing serious.

maybe one of the reason one member can't just delete entry is if his entry is not getting enough votes he will just delete it to keep his vpp high. And it will become a practice here.

ding ding ding ding
Thats exactly why they wont delete both. If its a double post, sure they'll delete one. But if its just to delete an entry, they wont.
