How do I Open an animated gif in CS3 and still have all the frames and layers? Try it with my little bouncing boobie girl. I wanted to put my name "REY" on her shirt.

I keep checking the obituaries to see if my name is there. If it's not, then I figure I'm ok.

Choose File » Import » Video Frames to Layers
In the file browser in Windows, type *.* in the File Name and press Enter or click Load.
It will not open any file, but it will view every file without restriction of Type of Files.
Open your animated GIF files, it will show you a dialog box regarding the imports. Press OK to import as default.
Voila! The file is opened in animation frames. You can view the animation frames from Windows » Animation
Works perfect!
I dunno on a mac

yep, I tried that first, just like Donny said... but it wouldn't let me open this particular avatar gif for some reason... Thus why I moved it to IR and saved as a psd... strange.

I saved RR's avatar, clicked open as frames, did the *.* trick and it opened as frames for me.
NP mike, I like to "try" and help when I can.
Shaman- I wonder if the fact I have extended is the reason why it works for me and not you on this avatar??? do you have extended??
