Actually the OLYMPICS did not start out as a competion among countries...It was only for GREECE. A tribute to their GODS of the time. They have little to do with National Pride.
EXAMPLE: Jesse Owens was treated like every other Black man after the Olympics. Even though he ran circles around anyone HITLER HAD. That was why he was there. The US would have never used him as a member of the US team if they had a fast WHITEBOY. Think about it...1940's AMERICA was not know for being BLACK FRIENDLY. He makes our COUNTRY look like the Land of PROMISE and OPPERTUNITY, but when he got home he could not even EAT in the same Choke-N-Puke as most WHITE BUMS. If that's National PRIDE, i'm an airplane pilot.

I do agree with the whole GETTING AWAY from the negitive stuff, and back to chopping. That is what the site is SUPPOSE to be about, so i can't put down doing that. It's just that the idea came about because of the BANNED thread. If it had been a idea that just came about...i would not see anything wrong at all. It's only the way it started that makes me think it could go BAD. (most will not let it, but we do have the few that would.)

Don't get me wrong....if it starts up...i DO want in...BUT not on AMERICAS side. I'm going MERCENARY status as of now. Those sharpshooters in the Olympics are good. BUT i can hit that target at more distance, with it MOVING. My weapon don't even have that cute THUMB HOLE either.

Showcase used to have a fun annual comp called The Team Challenge.

Everybody chopped for themselves but buddied up with another PSC member.

Each 2-person "team" chopped one comp a week and by month's end whichever "team" had the most votes won.

It was simple and required no extra work re: coding.

And everybody had a buddy to woot for.

Only 1 rule:
based on pscores; i.e. Vokaris & Stevster/Anfa and Marco/Claf & Rey/Arc & ScionShade etc. couldn't buddy up.
