Good Morning! This is Mrs. Rey Rey. He asked me to let you all know that he will not be chopping for a while. Yesterday he was in a motorcycle accident. He was going around a corner (avoiding squirrels) and hit the front brake and flipped his bike. The good thing is he was not going fast and was wearing all the right gear (helmut, leather etc.). He is very lucky, he dislocated his right (and he is right handed) wrist. The doctors said that this is an interesting case it does not happen to many people. He is very sore. The bike landed on him and he has a bruise on his right calf muscle that is making it hard for him to walk. A couple scrapes on his face. We spent about 5 hours at the hospital. He will not have use of his right hand for a while. He has to go see an orthopedic hand surgeon on Monday. He will have to have surgery to correct the problem and have a pin put in his wrist. He is resting today. If you guys know him like I know him, but how he is with this site. You will hear from him this afternoon.

Shit Mrs.Rey, that sucks. Glad to hear he's (relatively) okay though...could've been a lot worse. Hope he makes a speedy recovery.

Wow!What a bummer Rey.Damn bikes .Remember I broke 7 ribs and dislocated my shoulder last november (I still can't breathe up to par yet).Wasn't a squirrel but a couple of pedestrians ran out onto the street like squirrels.I also hit the front brake and it worked all to well.And at 10 mph you can still do some nasty things to yourself.Good thing you were wearing your helmet.Keep up your spirits.Fix that wrist and get back to choppin real soon.Strange but maybe your subconscious was trying warn you about something insidious about to happen by putting the skull symbol in your mind in that last chop you won .The mind works in misterious ways.Anyway rest up and maybe now's your opportunity to learn to be ambidextrous .Cheer up bro.
