At least, with it being this cold, you guys don't have to put up with the smell blowing in from Hamilton as much!   
Unfortuneately the smell is impervious to the cold and you can actullay cut a piece out and serve it on a plate.  
I can, if you want ship you a chunk UPS collect if you are waxing nostalgic for the aroma.

And yet the morning fog rolls in... this is a view from one of my favorite brekky joints... that strange orange glow is actually the SUN! 
The view from up the hill from my apartment (office) window is as such:
Slowly downtown Vancouver is coming again into view. 
(That long spec over the left side of Vancouver Island? That's an airliner about to make a landing in the frickin fog at Vancouver International Airport!
NOTE: what you are seeing in the above picture is basically the area covered by the red arrows in the image below: the mountains are on Vancouver Island (lower left) and the buildings in the forground are in North Vancouver where I live. The city in the middle is downtown Vancouver.

Notice the strange dark green plastic wrapped building in the lower right corner. It's been that way for months and months. Perhaps they KNEW THE FOG WAS COMING!?! !?

Ok I have had it with ya snow and ya fog and ya nice little creatures in the ice and the blah blah blah cold cold cold...
Well listen up on my island its all hot hot hot and the other night it was a nice clear sky so I took some night photos 6 photos in all blended together, of my sweet home Perth...yeah its not a big city as you guys have but its just right for us.
