or maybe someone can suggest a different approach:
i try to delete but all i get is deletion through to the background...
so then i select the "background eraser"
Erase a tiny piece of the image
reselect the ERASER tool
and then YAY!!!! the Erasor actually erases!
MY POINT IS THAT I ALWAYS WANT TO CUT OUT OBJECTS TO PASTE THEM INTO BACKGROUNDS. THE ERASOR TOOL SEEMS TO HAVE A "DOUBLE FUNCTION" IN THAT IT WILL ERASE
TO BACKGROUND.... OR ERASE
THE BACKGROUND. I WOULD LIKE TO ERASE
THE BACKGROUND WITHOUT HAVING TO USE THE BACKGROUND ERASER TO INSTRUCT THE ERASER TO ERASE THE BACKGROUND.
Maybe i'm making a stink for something which i only have to do once per project and doesnt really bother me too much anyway? LOL!
