In my first contest win back in 2004 (geez, has it been that long?) it was me an Splodge right down to the last day. I think we were tied as time wound down, and he cast a vote for me that gave me my first win. I know others that would never do that. What a good, decent man. I'm reading this sad news now.

urgggg i havnt been here in so long because of being banned... but i heard about splodger... so i had to come and offer my condolences .. he was a good dude .. and funny as ever.. when i read this sad sad news i cried.. he loved to ban me..

and he told me to not come back...and finally i listened .. this is my first appearance since .. im not here to cause trouble or to chop .. just simply wishing his family well in this sad sad time....SPLODGE ROCKED.. so hard!!! R.I.P. bud.. im drinking a guiness for ya right now..

I've never been a really active member, so I have never had the pleasure to get to know him better. But I've been around here since 2003 like he has and he has helped me more than anyone can realize. With this vast amount of help around the forums. And truly just adding to the spirit of this place.
