I normally stay when I like a forum...so far I really like this forum.
Is there anything I need to know? Like for example, I see many people leaving a comment on a contest entry like this: "..." why? or what does that mean?   show me the light!

When a voter choses not to leave a text comment, "..." is put in the comment field. You will notice those are gray whereas actual comments are black.

Wanako - as previously explained "..." is the default I'M JUST TOO BUSY TO PUT ANY WORDS DOWN HERE, BUT I WANT YOU TO HAVE ONE OF MY VOTES.
I urge you to do your best to put down a word or two - it really does add to the poster's fun.

Reinman has diety like powers eh? I think I know what those are!
Able to drink lite beer in a single gulp!
Able to convince himself that the salad is just as good as the burger!
Able to leap a large Häagen Daz container in a single bound!
