My honest opinion. I like it. I can hear a lot of good things in it. It can be great with some skillful edits and mixing. The voice is great but takes over everything. It needs to be buried a little. Maybe a little effect on it to smooth it so it is not so crisp. The drums can do so much more. They are kind of generic right now. They are not helping the song along. The song is a bit long for this kind of tune. It sounds like it wants to be a good song but nothing really stands out. It didn't really hold my attention long enough to want to listen to the whole song. Now I know I am going to take a bunch of hits for giving my opinion but I do love music. Always have. I am a fan of your kind of music and was excited when I started listening to it, but the feeling did not last through the whole song. Don't get me wrong, it's better than anything I ever recorded. I don't even know how to work a studio.
But I feel I am a good critic when it comes to music. I can judge a song for itself and keep my personal tastes out of it. Any ways. I do like what you are doing and I think it just needs a little work if you want it to sell. If it is was just for fun then it's fine and good work.
Please don't hate me... I know not many artists can take critique very well. It's those that know how to use it and
use it as a tool that move forward.

By the way, I was listening to it with a friend of mine. He has been in bands for a long time. Currently in three. He has played with many famous people and I know he knows what he is talking about. We both kind of felt the same way.
