My daughter scored her first goal in soccer today. She's 7 and ecstatic!

Yes, they won 3 - 2

They play 4 on 4, sometimes 5 on 5, and the coaches are on the field with the kids to give directions, and there are no goalies, but it is beginner level and they have a lot of fun.

Funniest of all is half time. They all run to the sideline and have a snack and a juice box.

Congrats to your 7-year-old! She must be so happy.
I loved soccer...hated field hockey...always afraid I'd hurt someone or worse, they'd hurt me. Very Happy

She told me afterward that she wanted to jump up and yell "YES!" but that it wouldn't have been sportsmanship, so she tucked her hands inside her sleeves instead.
