I enjoyed Bill Callahan.

OK Some new local music.
The new The Besnard Lakes is just fantastic. Definitively their best album.
Deep, powerful... one of the best indie rock band.

I came back to it recently... and now I'm addicted!

Just going through all this good stuff, I have to pick up that new Massive Attack The Besnard Lakes too.
The Benevento Russo Duo is great, thanks Todd, I'll have to watch more.
I'm just reading that Robert Plant is coming down to Miami Bayfront Park on July 31, I'm gonna try to get tickets at the gate, that's always fun

I also see Joseph Arthur will ba at the Montreal International Jazz Fest from June 27 - July 6 (daily for 10 days) He never tours down here, rat farts!
This has been out for a while, but what can I say, Karin Elisabeth Dreijer Andersson's voice is so unique, she did some work with the Knife.

It was a "surprise show". I heard about it at 11AM. I was surprised when I arrived at 6PM... there was about only 30 fans already waiting. Before the show at 8PM there was more than 10,000 fans. Well, it is simple... this is the best live show you can see!
News from CTV...
"Montreal-based indie rock band Arcade Fire staged a free concert Wednesday night at the Place Longueuil parking lot, delighting the thousands of fans who showed up at the shopping mall for the surprise show. The free show created a buzz after it was announced at the last minute.
"It's probably the most exciting thing Longueuil has seen in awhile," said one fan.
The south shore location for the concert was inspired by Arcade Fire's latest album, called "The Suburbs"."
