Here is how I vote.

1. Overall, do I like the image? Yes or No. (weeds out about 50% to 75% of the entries.)

2. Does it make me feel anything other than wanting to click the next button?

3. Is the "chop" (original pic) visible? Can we even see it?

4. How much work went into it?
Some are obvious some are not, spotting it comes with experience. (see #5)
Has there been a significant amount of change?
If the image was not changed much does it fit the new theme and style well?

5. Details, details, details.

The artist is irrelevant when voting. Anonymous or not it makes no difference to me.

It never fails to amaze me how a topic can go OFF topic in the blink of an eye.

I was unaware (and too lazy to look through the threads) that there were so many dedicated to the question at hand. If I'd known that I wouldnt have bothered.

It was said in here that people tend to pick on 'The Ballistics' and I agree (and before anyone says it, I'm not up their arses) I think they bring great work AND TALENT to PSC, and I have never known either of them to beg or "persuade" people to vote for their entries. Hands up to the fact that I have voted for ALMOST all of their work and its well deserved too, I vote for chops I like..end of!

I honestly didnt think my thread would start so much crap but obviously I was under the impression we were a mature lot here... my mistake.

I just thought and do think the voting process would be fairer if it was anonymous and that was it.

I HAVE done better than Marco and still got less votes. Ask Marco about it. It embarrasses him!

I'm not deluded, I simply vote for the chops I like and you have to admit marco and mrs have done some amazing work, as have lots of people here... I dont go for vote whore tactics I'm simply not that shallow. I'm sure we've all done work that WE thought was great and it only gets a couple of votes...shi7 happens. I chop because I enjoy it and was doing it long before I found PSC and if I get lots of votes or maybe even win, COOL thanks, but thats not what its all about.

I give in. I said it was pointless at the start. This place is full of sheep and I hate it!
Edit: Yes I said "sheep" and it wasn't a "naughty language" filter changing the word.

I think voting has gotten a bit wonky here...which is a bit frustrating.

Maybe tastes change?? I don't know. However, it seems the voting has gotten odd here ever since the "click for original version" thing came into being. I wish PSC would allow an uncompressed version of our work like the old times. ...maybe like the H2H?
