I won with 55 votes in a simple regular contest and a pretty average source pic with this chop on June 12th. Not even 3 months ago.

That's 30 to 40 votes over the average winner during the last year or so. Go check for yourself, you'll see. Meaning, there's still interest, participation and voters in here when chops are special and creative (I'm not saying I'm God nor that the past 365 winners were crap BTW. That last Watch Them Drift chop is another good example...)

I'm only trying to show you guys it's ONLY a matter of creativity. It has always been that way. If you guys want more of it, just get rid of that stupid advantage system, as some mentionned earlier.

Take me for example. I don't have a PayPal account and I'm not planning on getting one. Therefore, I don't have advantage which means I can't take time to come up with creative chops like that. If I could, surely I would. (desh gave me 3 months advantage back then, that's why I could chop). I think PSC would benefit to have ALL the good choppers out there.

I really don't know how much this site needs the advantage revenues to survive... but what I know is that those revenues are holding back some great creativity.

But we keep the advantage concept and make it free so EVERYONE can chop in their own time.
I'd also ditch the voting for upcoming source pics. It should be totally random. There is a handful of people doing the voting so the variation of sources is only in the bracket of what this handful likes.

It was like that in the olden days and it was good!
The anon then though wasn't the same as the anon now. We could see the votes and which chop was winning but we couldn't see who it was and who voted for them. We could see all the comments and votes on peoples chops but it had ??? where their name was.
