I'm all out of inspiration, I've looked a the month aheads pictures over and over and I'm getting very few ideas of what to do with them.
Maybe I'll spend the next few weeks looking at tutorials

I get like this all the time, but I do find that lookin at previous contests can give you ideas and inspiration.

You are experiencing the malady known as Chopper's Bock.

You are not alone. Only chopping super freaks like Rey, anfa, claf, etc. seem to be immune.

One of the best remedies I've found is to read fiction. Specifically fiction that's very descriptive of environments and objects in the story. Sci-fi, fantasy, etc. seem to work great. Anything that'll trip your imagination.

Oh and it doesn't hurt to take a chopping break every now and then too.

I tend to look a blank white screen or stair at a wall and let the imagination within my head run wild... I have never had lack of imagination throughout my life wwhich my art should be proof... so I can almost always come up with something... however with that said... everytime I start a chop for the contest I never know what the end result will look like... it kind of just happens as I go from start to finish!
