I submitted my 10th chop, so now I can vote! (Did some of that.) Didn't want to introduce myself until I could say that.
I'm new here, but I've been mangling images for a while (more than 12 years). I started entering contests a few years ago at Fark. There it's all about the entertainment value to the members. Skills don't count so much. I did OK with my humor, and my skills did improve some. I've known about PSC for years, but stayed away because here it's all about skills.
Finally, with the encouragement of a couple of online friends, I joined up. (One of them also gifted me Advantage; thanks EC {and GbyP}.) I'm hoping that by entering contests here I'll improve my skills and learn some new techniques. I had decided to focus only on artistry and avoid humor. That lasted for one entry. Oh well, stick with what you know I guess.
Getting 10 done in such a short time wasn't easy for me. I'm slow creating these things. It will probably take a few months to get another 10 done, but at least I can vote! While I'm away at work (a month at a time) I don't have time to chop, but I can still check ongoing contests. I'm looking forward to seeing what you all do in the 2011 H2H tournament!

Okay dsclink since we aren't getting rid of you, where are you from SD or India? Really which do you travel to and which are you from?

Quite a commute! Hope you get good miles/gallon! I lived in SD for 30yrs until 1 yr ago then moved up to Temecula but still visit SD.

Welcome, fellow Farker. I found my way to PSC through Fark as well. 
And where in Texas are you from?

Welcome dsclink! Nothing wrong with comedy! As a matter of fact comedy gets lots of votes. Well done comedy wins very often! But artistry works too. So just enjoy, and stfuac!
