I do agree that prizes changed things here at PSC in a fairly big way. They changed it for the positive for those who like 'rewards' type competition. For those of us who just like tossing a frisbee around or going for a jog around the block together, it is less than positive.

Oh well. If any of you kids want Blue or me, we'll be down at the local pub drowning our sadness in Gypsy tears.

Well change sometimes is good. Proc was slowly watching the site DIE from the sidelines! Maybe I'm wrong but I think we're better off with him gone. I know your an old school member but I've been around here for a few years myself and any mouth to mouth resuscitation to keep the heart of PSC beating is welcomed by me. Just my opinion. Wouldn't you rather see a recovery than have a funeral?

Blue can speak for Blue.... but for myself my comments responding to Blue were NOT about change in general. I think anything that has an actual life to it requires changes. My comments were from my own opinion that I, personally, don't enjoy the "carrot on a stick" method of play/competition.
I totally agree that PORC (sorry, PROC) was letting the site die and was only interested in what he himself could get from it. I see the new owners (I like the nickname "BUZZ" btw ) are actually trying some things here . . . and for that I give them a BONUS salute!!!
So... just clearing up what I was saying above there.

We get ONE prize day a week and the people that don't like them still whinge!! I've also noticed that the people doing the whinging don't even chop!
Cheer up guys, you still have 6 days of none prize contests not to chop in.

And I totally agree with you Reindude! I'm just glad to see someone trying resuscitation (in spite of their monetary gains) instead of pumping a couple more bullets in the chest to put the site out of it's misery. We all like to live in the illusion of a perfect world with butterflies and soap bubbles rising into a perfect sunrise like you guys remember the "original" PSC with all it's "old school" choppers that paved the way for us lowly newbee's (regardless of how long or how good we chop). But we (the now practicing members of PSC) want the site to live on because we like it here.
Things change and people move on, as have most of the old original members. And some linger like Bret Farve in the NFL hoping that he can regain his youth like a Peter Pan of the Football world. But to no avail age, and time get us all.
So thanks "BUZZ" for a freshly oxygenated site that has, for whatever time, been wheeled into the Critical Care Unit.
