I'd like to introduce you to a little word game I learned once from my brother. Its called "Tom Swifties". The idea is to make up a statement, attributed to Tom Swift, in which either that action or the qualifier is a play on the subject of the statement.
Allow me to demonstrate the action variant.
"Thar she blows!" Tom wailed!
or, as an example of the qualifying kind:
"I'm going to harpoon a whale!" Tom said pointedly.
Pene and I have been playing for a couple of days and I thought it might be fun to let you lot unleash your creativity with this.
Some more samples:
"I wish I were a lumberjack." Tom pined.
"I farted in the bathtub." Tom bubbled.
"I'm adding to this graffiti." Tom remarked.
OK, enough from me, now it's up to you.
NEXT!!!
I am very upset.Tom cried.
My oxygen tank is empty.Tom gasped.
I am as strong as a Lion.Tom roared.
I am as quiet as a mouse.Tom squeaked.
I can speak very well.Tom said.
I always answer my emails.Tom responded.
