I wouldn't be surprised if people bailed out due to the source.
Perhaps an idea for future H2H's to present 'choppable' pics? I think it might improve the quality of the chops overall !

good idea ....but it isn't a excuse!! my chop took a while to do ....it's not that good cuz its a shitty source but at least i did uploaded something ...and i only had yesterday eve to chop....

maybe the rules have to change for no shows ..ban them like more than 1 year to join h2h, maybe then they'll think twice before doing a no-show-thingie

Maybe do like they do with advantage members? Give 3-5 photos to vote on each week?

Regardless... what you consider choppable, I may not.

Part of the fun of H2H is not always getting what you'd like to chop, but rather being 'forced' into making something out of what they provide.

screw it... ban them from PSC for a year. Unless they have a damn good excuse like no internet service or death in the family. THAT would stop the no shows.

The terms clearly state... Don't sign up unless you've got time to do 1 chop per week for about 8 weeks.

PSC needs Karma points. Gain Karma by voting in dailies, entering dailies, have other members award some of their karma to people in forums, or for liking an entry... etc. Then, to participate in the H2H, you have to ante up all your Karma points with a minimum of X Karma. When you submit your entry, you'll get your points back at the end of the tournament if you continue to participate. No-show, and your opponent gets ALL your Karma points (you could have millions handed over to your opponent, LOL). Make the ante into the H2H so high that it would take a few months to gather enough Karma Points to enter if starting from zero.

Also, award different amounts/levels of Karma points to the victors of each round of the H2H.

Just an idea. Make Karma points something people desire.... it would increase participation in the daily contests, even if all someone does is vote every day. A member could even redeem Karma for Advantage if he/she accumulates enough.

We could call them Splodge Points.
