I couldn't force myself to use Comic Sans. Not even for comedy.
How about Papyrus or Trajan Pro?
I actually like Trajan Pro even though it's totally overused.
Papyrus I don't mind.
It's nice and I don't see it much, really.
Unfamiliar with Trajan Pro.
However, I used to to a lot of signs and awards and packaging
back when I actually did this work, and you see an ABUNDANCE
of Copperplate Gothic Bold.
Before I was a designer, I wouldn't notice fonts at all, really.
But then you learn typography and design for a couple years, and you
start recognizing common fonts all over the place, it's horrific.
Nothing said generic, uninspired business like Copperplate Gothic Bold.
I opened a hotel directory once, that folder they leave in the rooms advertising
all the local restaurants and venues and whatnot, and I swear I found it at least once on every page.
You need a plain, cutout block sign in gold you say?
By jove, I've got the font for you!
