An old PSC member, who joined the site in 2006, happened to pm me, approximately a week ago. He explained that he really liked my animation work and would therefore like me to work and create some stuff for his prolific movie/animation site.
At first, I gulped, due to viewing the creative/technical standards of his site. They are remarkably high, to say the least.
I was set the challenge of animating some cinematic-motions in 3D. I bravely accepted the challenge, and fortunately, passed the challenge with flying colors.
I was offered a job. I accepted.
As of Monday morning, I'll be working part-time via my PC and via the net, in order to carry out this new obligation.
Why am I sharing this information on a thread? Well, if it wasn't for me uploading my silly, rushed and puerile efforts to this site, my work would never have been noticed.
The person in question, has kindly asked me to keep his identity anonymous. For whatever reason, that maybe.
I will try and post some work-based links in the near future. These will of course, be related to the 3D work, that I'm due to be banging out, over the next few months.
I genuinely thank PSC for accepting the GIF format via contests. My next gig would not have been possible without that.
Thank you PSC. Thank you muchly.
