I want to sit in a spacecraft and do a flyby of Jupiter. Bonus points if I can enjoy the view while doing a space walk. It's the slightest of probabilities, but it is possible with current technology and can qualify for a bucket list activity.
You would get one hell of a sun tan, better shoot for one of the moons, you might reach Ganymede and Callisto. Landing on the surface of one of those moons would provide significant radiation shielding, though I don't know whether it would be *enough* shielding. 5/6 year trip time. (One way) A low energy near-Hohmann transfer orbit round trip takes 5 years and 5 months. Cheers.
