OK Mike not to belittle the seriousness of terroism or to take away from the suffering inflicted on the victims and their families by these perturbed murderers but from 2003 to 2014 there were 80 deaths in the US caused by terrorists,that's in 11 years,now to put things in perspective only in 2016, 38 people died from lightning strikes in the US and the average death toll in the US by tornado is roughly 70 per year.What are you gonna do shoot the clouds.Life is a dangerous place in general and people die by many silly ways,just watch the tv program 1000 Ways to Die... I must say that I totally agree with you on this Mike... and will always defend your right to disagree with me.I know that it's not the gun that kills, it's the mind behind the finger that pulls the trigger that does.The problem seems to be that many human beings are still living in the stone age,and even that may be an insult to some civilized troglodytes.I guess what I mean is that there are a lot of psychopaths living among us and I'm sure that even if guns weren't invented if they want to kill you they could bite you to death.So guns or no guns we all must accept the fact that life in of itself may be dangerous.Personally I do not like guns (except at the carny to win a teddy bear for my daughter) and will not own one,I prefer to use my wits when confronted with a dangerous situation instead of brute force but each to their own.Oh and there is something much more dangerous than guns,it's called stupidity
