Hi, DBbowling mentioned this neat idea that he came up with awhile ago:
Quote: Years ago I had a forum thread titled "Photo-walk". The idea was to take pictures with your camera on walk and then post them on the forum thread.
and he told me to start a Forum thread:
Quote: Papchap. Start a photowalk thread. Then this week we can all take photos. Then next week post them the following weekend.
so yes, this is the photowalk thread I think there's enough information in what DBbowling wrote.
but. for clarification:
step 1: Go on a walk, take photos! (this week?!)
step 2: make a forum post and share your walk!
yeyy...

Here we are not allowed to walk any further than 1 km from home, unless it is for shopping in authorised shops (food, cigarettes, but no clothes, no books), going to work, to the doctor.... so the possibilities are rather limited at the moment.

Not if we ALL stay within 1 km.

There was a photography teacher, a long time ago, who would start his class by giving every student a 20 exposure roll of film and told them to go out and shoot it around the building. If any complained there was nothing to shoot he would tell them if they could not find 20 picture within walking distance they should not consider photography as a life option.
I'm in.

I'm completely in Papchap!
Thanks Yerpalal for this beautiful text. I listened to you and walked around my neighbourhood this morning. I took around 40 photos and kept 17 of them, gave them each a title which corresponds to the distance from my home. Now I'm not sure how to post them here...

I understand your feelings, but when should have two dates. One to start and one to post by.

I guess take pictures and post them by the end of this month. The weekends are a great time to get out. I know not all people around the world can get out. So keep it simple. Post them sometime this month.
