I'd like to complain about my disappointment that metalic's entry in round 3 got my vote. After seeing the results and comments for that matchup today I did a search on Getty for "ufo".
The way the tournament is set up doesn't give the authors an opportunity to cite sources or give notes, nor does it allow the viewers to inquire. At this stage of the game, I've given the benefit of the doubt that the participants have done the work themselves.
Boy was I wrong. Shame on you, metalic.

let me put it this way...
the entry that was just text stating, "I had no ideas and no time..." took about as much time
to complete as the one you lost to.
Not that time spent is the most important factor when choosing a winner but I'm quite certain that
most people voted for the composition and humor of a Getty photographer.

You didn't need any proof, you did a great job buglover, tough match. Great GIF you did, would make a great supplement to a tutorial on how you made your pic for PSC's tutorial section, looks very organized.

If you do a Google image search for "cymbals monkey," you'll find my first two sources. That big silly grin gave me the idea for the rest of the chop. The third source can be found by googling "mother monkey." The eyebrows, however, are 100% Cynn original. Boo-yah! 
I think Metalic would have beaten me anyway. I am just disappointed.

I voted for your chop because I thought you used the source picture better than Metalic... I thought yours was a better chop...
Regardless of the source Metalic used, his use of the source photo is what I rated he and you on.
I am sorry you didn't win, but I believe it was fair, regardless of the source image.
I also agree with EJH that the contestants should have a chance to quote sources - only urls no comments (comments might give away the author).
Anyway...I lost in this round too.. so, lets cray together.

Just to clarify someting... I think metalic is a very talented individual. And it's especially in light of that fact that I'm so disappointed by his entry in round 3. Such blatant stock photo usage is inexcusable for someone of that skill level (or any level for that matter).
I can't be bothered to go researching images before I vote for entries. I feel like I've been tricked out of my vote here.
Woe is me... I don't know if I will ever be able to trust again!
(BTW-- metalic, I hope that's you hanging your head in shame in your avatar)

All is fair in Love and Chops. Metallic's entry was good..who cares if was a stock. Is long as the Source was used... it's still a valid chop, Cynn's Chop was also nice. funny too. I missed the vote, but I think I would have voted for UFO. Good job Metallic and Cynn.
