*lol* ReinMan.
I see your sock plays the accordion! Do you play, aslo????
I used to play the accordion a lot... until one strange and embarassing day....
(flashback transistion)
One Christmas a couple of musician friends (a clarinet-playing dentist, and a trumpet player) and I were walking around our home town caroling (no singing, thank god). I was playing my accordion (it's an old cordovox that weighs like 35 pounds)... We were caroling on our Main Street (this is a small town) and stopping in each of the small shops to play our christmas carols and leave. However, upon leaving one of the shops, I tripped on a small door step in front of the shop and fell forward right on top of the accordion. Luckly, my hands were out of the way... But, being as it was on concrete, the accordion did NOT fare well... and a bunch of people were standing around staring, which was pretty embarassing. *lol* I *did* get the accordion fixed (the bass section was all collapsed), but it hasn't been the same, and I haven't played it much since.
(/flashback transistion)
So, that was the fate of my accordion-playing days.

Wow! Yes, I do play (120 bass, piano accordion) and two christmases ago I too did the Out In The Streets caroling/squeezing thing. Although my adventure did not end as tragically for me!
It was good to have this short respite from Sockdom to get to know you better Monsoir Goatee!

Awesome!!! Very interesting. Cool to meet another musician...especially who plays the accordion!! Maybe I'll get it out this Christmas season once more (and watch my step) I think the bass side works well enough for Christmas carols! ...brings back memories.
*lol* "Monsoir Goatee" Very funny if said with a heavy fake French Accent.
I have a rehersal! TTYL! Nice to get to know you better too, Reinman!

Glad you like it, Goat! That reminds me--on edits: Please feel free to chop these up however you wish to. We're all choppers, here. It's what we do.
JMH has asked me to keep him updated with the latest socks, so if you do revise yours, please post it or send it to me so I can make sure JMH has the version you like best.
Demasiado, I just saw your signature banner! Verdadamente, eres demasiado. In a good way, of course.

Ooh. I'm glad you did that. I was planning to draw you with a guitar, but would have made you right-handed. Er. Socked.

Dang, Cynn, I have even more respect for you now. You might be the only person on the face of the planet that would actually catch and take into consideration the left-handedness of my sock. Thats pretty awesome. (Which I did on purpose cuz I am left handed.)

mason, with MUCH RESPECT, I must tell you that I (at first) thought that was a LeftHanded POTATO playing a guitar.
I figured that, since it was only a POTATO, it would most likely not know the proper way to weild an axe.

Comeback 1: You hurt my feelings!!
Comeback 2: Oh, yeah? well, uh..er...YOUR MOM!
Comeback 3: Duh!! Its a SOCK-POTATO!
Comeback 4: Actually, I would say it more resembles a pile of MASHED potatoes, and that is EXACTLY why Cynn is the master sock-maker.
Take your pick!

All right, hot out of the dryer:
3rian, who wanted messy brown hair and a microphone
Azionite, who wanted a sword (I gave him the cocktail variety)
Patim, who wanted a puppet to match his cyborg avatar
Waiting list:

Cynn, Thanks so much for the sock! It looks great, other than I changed the color a bit.
w00t!! I've been immortalized in a Cynn sock...
