Okay - following Jerry's recomendation I purchased this book:

Another book I read, and have just re-ordered for purchase (and has also been enjoyed by the great photographer Square) is this one:



It answered a LOT of questions that any pro imaging dude should know. And with the HEAVY DUTY book that Jerry has recommended I might JUST get my colour shite together before I turn 50!

One thing I'm still confounded by is that my IMAGES can be assigned a profile, my MONITOR can be assigned a profile, my PHOTOSHOP can be assigned a profile "space" and my frickin PRINTER can be assigned a space. I've been unsuccessful getting them all in the same world and (example) at times I'll get an image looking one way in PS, another way over in ImageReady, and yet again different in Internet Explorer. Ta hell with getting my printer to get it right!!!!!

Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo . . . its gonna be a LONG night o' ponderin' at th' ReinRanch!
