Another thread inspired me to do this.

It would appear more than just myself would like to know a bit more about the MODs and MODding around here at PSC.

So I would really appreciate some actual info on this fine topic.

B) Why do you think you are a good MOD? (if you feel you are NOT a good MOD, please quit and let someone else have a go! )

I think if we could get a straightforward answer to the above questions from you Modfolks, that it would serve to "open" up this community a bit more and push back some of the fog that creeps up on us from time to time.

I'm not a MOD.....and your all damn lucky too.

A) How did you become a MOD?
a) during a particularly vicious spam attack the mods voted two new mod in for back up, i was one of them

B) Why do you think you are a good MOD?
b) I'm on-line 20 hours a day and respond to most problems instantly

C) What do you currently feel/think regarding PSC as it is in this incarnation?
c) i think the site could only get better with time and help from the community

D) Is there anything you'd like to see more of here at PSC?

Thanks Splodge! It was good to see that my own attempt at (momentary, I assure you) seriousness rubbed off on you long enough to answer those questions.

Okay - Splodge has set the pace (bunny suits and straight answers) so I invite the rest of the MODs to KICK IT UP A NOTCH or forever be SHAMED!

Seems to me the boys are the ones in trouble.

A) How did you become a MOD?
I was one of three appointed when Showcase and YerPalAl stepped down. I had been helping jmh out prior to this with various things and it was a natural fit.

B) Why do you think you are a good MOD?
My main duties as a mod have been user admin (largely helping users out with account problems), developing new ideas to improve the site, working on stats issues, general day to day stuff (duplicate entries, spam monkeying, answering queries), and running the source photo approvals. I'm not around nearly as much as splodge, but I do make a good amount of time to be available at PSC each day despite my ridiculous schedule.

C) What do you currently feel/think regarding PSC as it is in this incarnation?
My all time favorite version of the site was the one prior to this one. There are pros and cons to both and I would like to see a meshing of the best of both if the site ever gets redesigned.

D) Is there anything you'd like to see more of here at PSC?
The site is in a bit of a lull right now. I hope to help wake it up.
