Im a noob with computers and just want to see if any of you guys know what the problem is?

computer keeps crashing at the start and a blue screen pops up and says A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer?????

So everytime I start up this evil blue screen pops up then crashes
can anyone help

you're in trouble. take a note of what the blue screen of death says and write it here.

yeah i uninstalled my printer and it seem's that worked hopefully.

now to back up all my shit

In case for future, if you had a blue screen of death:
Use this Free software to let you know the blue screen code; which lets you know what cause the problem.

See this guide to config your windows to create MiniDump files on BSOD(Blue Screen Of Death)

the software read that MiniDump file to let you know the info about BSOD on you system.
Once you know the code(eg. STOP: 0x0000007E), just google it to know the cause of BSOD.
Well this is ok if after the BSOD your system starts...and give you time to run the software
Well if even you get the MiniDump file some how, which is located in C:\Windows\minidump, you can use the software to read it on other system I think

hey , listen ... remove yr recently install software , defragg yr hard disk or update yr anti virus... yr systems files are infected or corrupted by virus ... so better reinstall yr window and install any good anti virus like norton or nod32.. you can easily found free version from many sites then update...
