This is very good, I am guessing the bot is 85% made from the sky, would have liked to have seen more of the buildings used. Very creative however, and does look good.

Marco, the sky was not used on the bot. The collar, mouth, and ear pieces all come from the source. Everything else is painted.

ahhhh well in this case by putting All Source you have confused me, as to make the bot with a painted PS work method, surely it is source & PS work, not just elements of the source. Hence why I presumed you used the sky to make the bot smooth texture.
marcoballistic marcoballistic
not that it really matters, as the fact remains that the end result used the source, maybe not as much as I would like, but still a great end result :o)

MB, you have a point. For me "all source" has always meant the use of a single image and Photoshop. Whether one chooses to define what is painted and what is source is another matter.

I am unbound by the notion that a certain percentage of the source ought to be used. It limits creativity and is one of the reasons why so many entries appear to have come from the same mold. Ack!

touche sir, I think this discussion can be concluded by stating that this image indeed uses a great amount of skill from yourself, as of now in my opinion, it is not being apprieciated as it is worth far more votes in my book. Hope it gets more respect.
the burning couch the burning couch
uhh..ok..about this percentage of source used subject....I ...aaaaaa forget it*!*

As long as this stays somewhere in the Top 3 , I wont spaz out. *!*
