I had to deal with strong jpeg artifacts when uploading it. Maybe this is because of the complex structure of the background. Does anybody know what to do about it? Anything that looked passable was bigger than 125 KB. Thanks!

You could always go advantage and be able to upload 1280 X 960 at 512k. If your going to hang around, go for it :)
