Do I think it's a good idea? Yes. Would I have voted for it if I knew you didn't make this yourself? Probably not. When you cut and paste something in a already existing work, without doing modifications to it, you should mention or show some extern

ok lets do this. First of all its a background, the highlight is the squirrel(which is nothing special but has 10 times more work than your whole winning entry). If i asked for external of course i posted it(thing you didn' t). kisses Manolis(papavales)

dont worry, i have seen winners here who used a complete google external and a tiny bit from the source, the total composition you made is good, next time better show externals etc etc, good luck

Some have to understand... this is not only external, this is external artwork. That's why it is important to show it.

I think there is also a certain amount of voter responsibility, too. Instead of piling votes on an entry that does not provide externals. Hold off until you're sure the entrant did the work.

Now, having said that, I probably would have voted for it, too, because I thought the entrant drew the sea monster. Now I know to be a little more discerning once I earn my right to vote.
