This may be disrespecting the U.S. Marine Corps

Genesis2: Make up your mind. Is it or isn’t it, and why?

Nice, but the flag should be hanging down, not up.

BigGame3113: Why? It isn’t suppose to be exactly like the original, and the wind is capable of blowing the flag into this position which explains why it is blurred at the end.

I'm an ex Marine, and it is to me!!! tadams.

You still haven’t explained why it is disrespectful. The image is a reminder to all about the sacrifices that were made to support the type of democracy that we enjoy today. It is being done on a site which supports creativity and diversity.

When you posted your “Saved” entry did it not occur to you that someone who lost a loved one to drowning might be offended?

So taking a famous iconic photograph and replacing one flag for another is what you call creative. Yeah Right! And what has diversity got to do with this.

and by the way, it was people like me that made those sacrifices, and I don't need you to remind me.

In response to my saved entry comment, "You're a fucking idiot".

Of course, my comment about your “Saved” entry was meant to be ridiculous, but the point is someone, somewhere can take offense to anything you create. Do you defend what offends or only what agrees with you?

You don’t get to define what is creative for me or anyone else but yourself. That my image would provoke you to comment in the manner you have chosen is exactly why it needed to be created, even though that wasn’t my intention.

blah, blah, blah, tadams, you pompous windbag, you're not worthy of any further discussion.

Discussion? You must be joking. Your comments are filled with angry name calling, quotation marks and loud eclamation points.
