Good idea. But look at the roots of the islands, I'm sure you can do better. They are very pixellated and it shows that you used the same ones several times. You could also make the cut of the trees cleaner.

Another suggestion about your cut outs. Feather your selection a pixel or two. It softens the edges and makes the cut out look more natural.

genesis2, the software I'm using is regular Adobe Photoshop. YerPalAl how do I feather the selection? I had a hard time finding good pictures of roots. I'm still pretty new to this, trying to figure out what photoshop can do. Thanks for all the feedback

Good pictures of roots would have been larger pictures. When you enlarge too much a small picture this is the result you get. No room here, I send you a PM Cc 😊
