Color to alpha? Anyway, the texture should bend as it goes over the edge. Still good. I never had a SNES... so deprived...

I'm no expert in this, but I think what you'd do is select the area where it should be bent (probably using the lasoo tool), and then go edit>transform>distort to bend it. But like I sais, I'm no expert.
