Greetings people of planet Earth,

When a colleague at work is celebrating his or her birthday, we always decorate his or her desk and I am always the "Photoshop guy" who makes a funny poster.
But this time, on the 19th of October it's the bday of Mr.Bossman himself...he's turning 40!

So we want to do something special, but something more than just decorating and a poster.
But we need help, that's why I am asking for ideas. I know you guys are creative!
Some things about him, he's French, not so big and he will be 40 years old. (and he has a French Bulldog)

Ideas so far are to decorate his house (he lives close to the company) and the road to his work.
Decorate his desk with sticky notes, give him a walking frame (rollator) and talk REALLY LOUD to him.
Hmm...but he really doesn't like the attention, so he threatened to fire all of us if we do something funny.

PS: I know lots of you guys are waaaaaaay older than 40, so please don't feel offended

That’s a good start.

• Empty his office!!!
• Just 1 box with his personal stuff on his desk or – even better – in the hallway.
• Make a new nameplate on his door (for example: those of his biggest competitor/concurrent will do just fine!).
• When he comes in… look totally surprised and say: Hi???
• Remain still and keep looking @ him ... occasionally shrug your shoulders, like, wtf is he doing here?

It seems that on his bday like all the big bosses from the company (which are from Canada) are coming over to here, to have meetings all week etc. so we can not make it too extreme

Ha, just finished with his office...we removed the door and filled his office with 500 balloons
Tomorrow he has to do a search through the building to find scissors (to remove the tape) and a needle (for the balloons) we give him some hints, where to look and he has to sing birthday songs in French, Dutch and English

In the end we celebrate and give him his present and we eat cake or whatever...
Yesterday evening we already decorated his garden in front of his house
