Nice idea. Blade seems too round. Usually flatter but maybe slight pitch to the bevel at edges of blade. Just suggestion!

Great idea. Some curve to the upper edge of the shield would be nice. I like the Damascus steel look on the blade but there's not much of an edge to it.
