Making me sleepy... All source, except the background, which isn't even Mexico! Experts estimate that there are 1523 pieces of sushi in this image.

1523 pieces of sushi in this image? Guess I'd better vote before the seagulls get wind of it.

idea is really nicely done, creative too. But I must point out the fact the shadows in the scene seem to be according tho the shrubs behind, just offset to the right, but mostly straight down in position. So the sombrero shadow is ok... see comments:

A great little creation. The background doesn't seem like the right choice to me.

...then though, there seems to be a shadow of what looks like railings, but they are being cast in the exact opposite direction to the other shadows??? This puzzles me quite a bit, rest of the work and idea though is great Doug.

Mark, the 'railing' is actually an open latticework roof supported by this pillar. 'Course, only I know that 'cause I was there (Grand Cayman). Sometimes something is correct, but looks wrong anyway! I had to fake a photo on a book cover because the .

... heron was too white and looked cut out. As to the other shadows, looking at the fence post and eave over the door, the sun is slightly more vertical than the shadow on the brim and the knees. But those shadows add definition, I think.

ahhhh I see it now, it looks like the pillar is quite a way behind the sombrero guy, so it looks like it is coming from the other way to meet his shadow. Thanks for the explanation,, good stuff
