after seeing the flckr link, I am a bit shocked, this should have been linked. I really thought all the octopus had been added to this scene and shadows and highlights added.

All of you who commented are good and great choppers, and it comes right in your face that there is a simple work of integration made by Wiz, i think cheater is a bit offensive

Wiz has a style all of his own which many times relies on modifying an existing piece of art or advertisement, some of which people recognize and some do not. Occasionally it's more his work than someone else's. This shouldn't be a suprise to anyone.

In this case a credit should have been given because the piece is more about the strange octopus than about the clever integration of the source.

Chopping is not only manupulation of source or texture and brushwork!!!!! Integration tecnique is very important in a chop to let it look realistic. I think not only that the word cheating is too much.

Agreed cheater is harsh, though originally looking at the chop without viewing the original is a bit deceiving. As I thought more work was put in to it. Don't tell anyone though, I've had a few chops that are a bit deceiving too. hehehe. ;)

unfortunately there have several chops here lately that have been snagged from elsewhere and not noted as being so until they're "caught". as soon as I saw this the thought that came to my mind was "worth 1000?"

I think externals should be listed not pm'd to just one that asks... especially in the case where it's obvious that it was photoshopped and could possibly be thought of as your photoshopping - this isn't just about this entry either.
