yeah, either the top shadow needs to be darker, or the bottom one needs to be lighter... maybe consider reducing the white of the ball as well. that sky seems pretty dark. Though you did take a picture of the ball.. so must be a flash ;)

Actually the ball was googled, and the reason for it being darker on the bottom shadow than the top is if you look at the hand and the way it is positioned, slightly leaning away with the thumb being closer to the person than the forefinger--->

Light would be able to get under the forefinger more than it would around the thumb. The BG is another random googled image....just blurred a bit to give it depth.
