seamus Oh I know my friend.. I've done plenty of faux finishes in my day. I love the way they look, but my God don't let the homeowner see it before its done. lol

arcaico
Sean, you do realize the shadow is completely wrong, right?
TheShaman
wrong arc. its exactly right. The light source is from the floor to the right.
TheShaman
but thanks for playing.
TheShaman
look I paint for my side job.. the light is coming from the lower right like from a lamp... I did that on purpose. the left side of the wall is brighter because its a white wall and its not painted fully yet. does that make sense?
arcaico
it´s wrong. I keep my opinion.
TheShaman
I think I fixed the problem... the metal on the roller was wrong.. and arc remember opinions are like assholes ;)
arcaico
you managed to make it even worse Sean... now the metal has a strong shadow where the light was supposed to hit it. Who cares anyway... I´m just a troublemaker, heh?
TheShaman
look the lights coming from the right on the floor, not the left. sorry I should have painted the whole wall. and not left it half undone I guess.
TheShaman
OK arc better now?
billtvshow
I think that last change makes it look great
TheShaman
I guess I should thank arc for making me make the handle and metal of the roller to make this work correctly. THANKS ARC lol
arcaico
I disagree with Stephen and won´t express my opinion anymore, once that´s annoying the author...
TheShaman
 ok then arc I tried my best... no pleasing everyone... vote for everyone else to knock me out of contention

digitalpharaoh
Maybe you should make it seem like a cloudy day...aren't too many shadows on a cloudy day...Wait...am I causing trouble?
TheShaman
lol damn why didn't I think of that Steve. thanks to Billtv for helping me fix this... besides I value his opinion over arcs, at least hes willing to suggest solutions.
arcaico
Ya do good on listening to Billtv. He knows the stuff. And don´t worry... I won´t cry in my pillow for you listening the same thing from both but choosing to listen to him. The shadow WAS wrong, and you know that.
TheShaman
actually the shadow is right (it never changed) it was the light source bouncing off the wall that WAS wrong.... but yeah I know what you say Arc. Cheers
TheShaman
oh I value your opinion too arc, don't get that statement wrong... but Billtv at least has suggestions on how to fix the problems when he points something out.
arcaico
dammit... the shadow WAS wrong... moving the source light was what fixed it. If ya changed the side of the shadow, you'd achive the same result. Pfffft
TheShaman
lol
