The text is unnecessary here. The chop works as visual pun. It has some fun blurring and noise, with lighting that works. I like the dead poultry, too. It has some good cleanup and humor--it could be the model for the classic rubber chicken. The b&w contrast with the bogus blood works, but the mugger is stronger.
