This isn't that challenging to be honest, and looks too crisp (especially the tail feather and I notice that you avoided to recreate the long tail that was cut off in the source picture). But since your opponent didn't enter, you're in Round 3! Which is further than I have ever been!

Idea is good, even though roosters don't lay eggs. ;) The nest looks a little bit too much cut-out. Some more twigs sticking out would improve a lot, as well as a little more shadow work on the nest (bottom) and underneath the rooster. Good job and see you in the next round!

Awesome chop! Your nest is poorly extracted and needs some work but your idea is stellar. Also, the background chickens are too repetitive and this could have used a slight blue photofilter to blend the image in with scene. Sorry for too much comments but hopefully you can take it to the next level next round. congrats!
